Copper-Accelerated Acetic Acid Salt Spray Resistance Test

The purpose of the test is to examine the effects that may be observed on the surface when the sample is exposed to polluted atmospheres.

Test samples are placed in a chamber at 50 ± 2°C, where a 5% concentration saltwater solution is prepared by adding copper(II) chloride dehydrate. The pH value is adjusted to the range of 3.1 – 3.3 using acetic acid.
