Founded in 2007 in Ankara, METALTEK initially focused on producing unique maintenance chemicals for the domestic market. With the support of R&D grants, METALTEK succeeded in developing and producing 8 critical chemicals used in both air and ground vehicles, which comply with U.S.-based MIL-SAE-AMS standards. These chemicals, such as alkaline rust removers, hot-type paint removers, gel-type paint removers, inhibitor-based corrosion removers, cellulose nitrate-based sealants, and lacquer, have been supplied to Military Maintenance factories.
The chemical maintenance products listed below are specifically designed for the defense industry, including ammunition, aircraft, helicopters, firearms, and tank factories. These products comply with MILITARY, SAE, and AMS standards, many of which are NATO Stock numbered. The prospectuses for these products indicate the standards they meet, and they also hold a "local product certificate" for their domestic production.
