As a result, the pressure water spray test device simulates the effects of pressurized hot water on the coatings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The resistance of a coated test sample to the loss of adhesion strength is tested through defined pressurized water spraying. The extent of damage to the test sample primarily depends on adhesion strength as well as factors such as the gap between the nozzle and the test piece, mass flow rate, test duration, nozzle geometry, impact area, impact angle, jet water temperature, and shear and scraping tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evaluation is carried out by visually comparing images where characteristic values are associated with areas of peeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pressure water spray test device consists of a high-pressure pump and a nozzle. The high-pressure pump transports heated water from the storage chamber and sprays it onto the prepared sample.
