Since the coatings are designed to protect the parts over their expected service life, it is important to assess their performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The test methods involve accelerated corrosion tests, subjecting the samples to abrasive attacks to evaluate the protective durability of the coatings. After being exposed to the conditions within the cabinet for a specific period, the appearance of corrosion (oxidation) on the samples is evaluated.
